Gunther Toody’s Sunset

This afternoon I went out to photograph the sunset.  I had found the perfect field of sunflowers a few days earlier and thought it would be beautiful to get the sun setting behind the flowers. I was disappointed when the sun went behind the clouds and thought my shooting for the evening was over.  I packed up my camera and started to head home.  About 10 minutes later the sky began to change and became a beautiful orange color.  I pulled over, grabbed my tripod and camera, and began taking photos before the colors started to fade.  It was beautiful!  When I got home I combined a few of the images I took at different exposures to produce the final image below.
